Chewy in the Community

As a fresh new company, Chewy Mooey is on it's way to being established, but we're getting involved in charities and sponsorships to help the community.

If you have any suggestions of affiliations for us, please get in touch.

OzHarvest

Chewy Mooey is proud to announce that we are supporting our first charity OzHarvest. Chewy Mooey will be donating all of the trim (excess meat) from the beginning of the process to OzHarvest which will go towards feeding vulnerable youth between the ages of 16 – 25 years. If you would like to learn more about OzHarvest please visit their website (http://www.ozharvest.org).

Help us build Houses in Cambodia!

The Chewy Mooey team is going to Cambodia to build houses! We have a fundraising goal of $17,000 to help aid some of the poorest Cambodian families. These families have typically been in the Tabitha savings program for 4-5 years in order to reach their dream of 'graduating from poverty'.  As part of this savings program, each family has saved and will contribute $40 towards the cost of the new house and land package.  Our team is fundraising to pay for the remaining $1700 per house.  When we arrive we will work side by side with the Cambodians, under their leadership and guidance, giving them the opportunity to teach us valuable life skills (building).

Click here if you would like to donate, any amount helps. All money raised goes towards materials for us to build the houses.

Happy Hands Foundation

Chewy Mooey is proud to announce we are sponsoring children through Happy Hands Foundation! Happy Hands Vision is focussed on enabling children/young people to continue at school. The opportunity for education will benefit them and their whole community. We know that keeping at-risk hill tribe children at school, helps eliminate child labour and the sale of children into drug running and child sex slavery. The hill tribe people live in remote areas of Northern Thailand with little or no access to education. This lack of education makes these children vulnerable to poverty and exploitation within Thailand’s ubiquitous sex and drug trades. Girls are particularly vulnerable. Those who get an education, grow up able to take much better care of themselves and their families. If you would like to learn more and make a difference, please visit their website (http://www.happyhandsfoundation.com) and don't forget to check their Facebook page.
